Welcome to Mesquite First Assembly; we’re in the heart of Mesquite with Mesquite at heart. We are excited that you have decided to join us on our website but we would love to see you connect with our church family! Our goal is to help serve you in any area of your life that you are ready to grow in. At Mesquite First Assembly, we are a community of believers committed to the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, to loving and caring for one another, and to taking the gospel to the whole world. We hope when you are in the area, you’ll come and worship with us on campus. At Mesquite First Assembly of God you will find ministries that are designed for every stage of life. Whether you are looking for something to engage your children or you are looking to fellowship with our passionate group of seniors; we’ve got something just for you. To help you get accustomed to our church, feel free to watch one of our services online or check out the frequently asked questions below!

What should I wear?

In our services you will find men and women dressed up or dressed down; this is Texas so people will be wearing  anything from blue jeans and cowboy boots to someone wearing a suit and tie. We invite you to come as you are; wear whatever you’re comfortable in.

Where do I sit?

There are no assigned seats, so you won’t find yourself sitting in someone’s chair. We do have a few seats reserved near the back for ushers, but those are clearly marked.

If you’d like, we have ushers that are available to help you to an available seat (they’re the ones smiling, shaking your hand, and have name tags on). The ushers are going to have the inside track on knowing where the music may be louder or softer; or where the AC blows extra cold – or doesn’t quite reach for those warmer seats.

Is there anything for my kids?

We have kids programs available both Sunday and Wednesday.

Sunday mornings during the 10:15 AM service, we have a nursery that is designed for children up to 2 years old. As well three separate classes; one for children ages 2-3 years old, another for children 4-5 years old, and for children in Kindergarten. Children from first through sixth grade meet in the Chapel for Kid’s Church.

Wednesday nights we have something for every age group with Royal Rangers and mPact Girls Club. All Wednesday night programs start at 7 PM.

Is there anything for my teenagers?

Our teenagers start Sunday mornings with Sunday School upstairs in the gym at 9 AM. We have relevant teaching, most of the time some donuts to munch on, and a ton of fun. Afterwards, our teenagers sit front and center in the sanctuary; so it’s okay if they want to sit with friends!

Our youth service is FIREPROOF on Wednesday nights! We meet in the chapel at 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. We have live music, engaging media, and a practical message for them; as well as games, friends, and fun. FIREPROOF is a place for teenagers. On top of that they are always doing something; big outreaches, summer camp, bonfires, and more.

What kind of church is this?

Mesquite First Assembly of God is a Spirit-filled, Christian church that believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We are a church within the fellowship of the Assemblies of God and adhere to the statements of faith and fundamentals truths. You can read more about that on our website or visit

How long will service last?

Wednesday night service typically lasts from 7:00 PM until about 8:30 PM.

Sunday morning service typically lasts from 10:15 AM until about 12:00 PM. (Just in time to go grab some lunch!)

Since we are Pentecostal, sometimes God moves and service goes a little bit longer – these moments are powerful in our church family and we love to see God move among His people.
